Former Philadelphia Eagle linebacker coach Bill Shuey has taken the same role with the Golden Rams as announced by head coach Bill Zwaan today. Despite not playing football in high school or college, Shuey spent ten years with the Eagles in various capacities, including the last three years as linebackers coach. However, he was relieved of his duties with the Eagles when head coach Andy Reid cleaned house on the defensive side of the ball and fired defensive coordinator Sean McDermott. Shuey's professional perspective should be especially beneficial to the Golden Rams' young, but talented, linebacking corps.
