Player News - Ryan Corkery Signs With West Chester

Ryan Corkery (Garnet Valley) has signed a letter of intent to play football at West Chester. The 6-2, 180lb quarterback was #111 on the most recent Philadelphia Inquirer's Top 150 list and on Rick O'Brien's others to watch list of southeastern PA's best quarterbacks. As a junior, Corkery threw for 1,407 yards and 14 touchdowns to go with his 845 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. The Jaguars (11-2) won the Central League and finished in the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA semi-finals. In that playoff loss, Corkery tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee. This past season, he rushed for 931 yards and 13 touchdowns and threw for 834 yards and nine touchdowns leading Garnet Valley to an 8-3 record and the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA playoffs.
