Pat McCabe (St. Joseph's Prep) has committed to play football at West Chester according to Ted Silary. The 6-3, 190lb cornerback was on Rick O'Brien's others to watch list of southeastern PA's best cornerbacks. McCabe was known for creating turnovers as he had three interceptions this season for St. Joseph's. He was named the Prep's special teams player of the week in the Hawks' season opening win over Cocoa High School in Orlando, FL. The Hawks (10-1) qualified for the PIAA AAAA District 2/4/11/12 playoffs, but fell in overtime to the eventual champion LaSalle.
