The NCAA released its third and final regional rankings of 2019 today. Despite dominating Lock Haven on Saturday and Urbana losing on Thursday, the Golden Rams remain #7.
The top seven teams in Super Region 1 qualify for the NCAA Division II playoffs.
However, if a conference's highest representative is in the top nine in the region, then that school will go to the playoffs via the earned access rule. So if the season ended today, Tiffin, which is the highest ranked member of the GMAC in this week's regional rankings at #8, would take West Chester's position at #7 in the playoff bracket.
