Teams News - Golden Rams Playoff Bound!!!!

For the second consecutive season, the West Chester Golden Rams will be participating in postseason play when, as the #4 seed, they host Slippery Rock on Saturday at noon. The NCAA announced the 2014 Division II football playoff field and Super Region I shapes up as follows:

1. Concord
2. Bloomsburg
3. Virginia St
4. West Chester
5. Slippery Rock
6. LIU Post

Concord will have a bye and will host the winner of the West Chester-Slippery Rock matchup on Saturday November 29. Bloomsburg will also have a first round bye and will host the winner of the Virginia St-LIU Post contest.

West Chester finished the regular season with a 10-1 record for the second straight season. Last year as the third seed, the Golden Rams won Super Region I to advance to the national semi-finals where they fell to Lenoir-Rhyne.
