Team News - Golden Rams in National Rankings

After the Golden Rams' 45-14 victory over #12 New Haven, West Chester (1-0) is now ranked #23 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II poll and #25 in the D2football.com poll. Last year, the Golden Rams received votes in the AFCA survey in the fifth week after defeating California, but fell out of consideration when they lost to East Stroudsburg the following week. West Chester last appeared in the top 25 of the poll on August 30, 2010 at #21 prior to their first game of the season at Delaware.
