Player News - Don Hansen Regional Teams Named

Ten Golden Rams were named to the All Super Region One Team by the Don Hansen Football Gazette. Named to the first team were senior linebacker Tyler Morrissey, senior defensive end Diquan Gilbert, junior safety Jarey Elder, and grad student offensive lineman Tyler Drob.

Named to the second team were junior quarterback A.J. Long, senior cornerback Shaquille James, and senior defensive tackle Shaq Ryder. Recognized on the third team were senior punter Brendan Paulison, sophomore kicker Andrew Chegia, and senior running back Mark Dukes.

Super Region One consists of schools in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, Northeast-10, Mountain East Conference, and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. West Chester led all schools in the region with four first-team selections and ten overall selections. The first-team and second-team All-Region selections advance to a national ballot from which the 2018 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America team will be selected later this month.
