Player News - James Named PSAC East Offensive POW

For his efforts in West Chester's 27-21 win over Kutztown, redshirt freshman wide receiver Rasheem James has been named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week. Starting in place of injured Jordan Banks, James overcame a couple of drops early in the game to make six catches for 142 yards including an 85-yard touchdown reception. It marks the second longest reception in the PSAC this season. His other key catch came on the last play of the third quarter when West Chester was faced with a second and 25 from its own 14. On that play, James made a 36-yard catch to get a first down at midfield. He becomes the second Golden Ram to be recognized by the conference this season after A.J. Long's award last week.
