Alumni News - Shabazz Gets More Playing Time in Pittsburgh

Former Golden Ram Al-Hajj Shabazz played most of the second half in the Steelers' 17-0 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Unlike last week when Shabazz played right cornerback, against the Eagles he was at left corner. He registered three solo tackles and an assist for four total tackles, good for sixth on the team for the game.

However, the highlight that's playing in Philadelphia sports media is at the end of the Eagles first drive of the second half. On a first and goal from the Steelers' five yard line, Philadelphia inserted newly acquired wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham in for his first play as an Eagle. Isolated against the 6'5 receiver in the corner of the end zone, Hajj got his head around in time to break up the potential touchdown pass.
