Alumni News - Roughriders' DePalma Activated

Former Golden Ram wide receiver Dan DePalma has been activated from the practice squad by the Saskatchewan Roughriders for tonight's game against the Toronto Argonauts. He has replaced Marshay Green as the primary kick and punt returner on special teams and is listed as one of the slotbacks on the Riders' depth chart filling in for the injured Ryan Smith. The game is scheduled to air on ESPN2 at 10:00 pm.

DePalma had signed a free agent contract with the Riders earlier and has spent the season on the practice squad up to this point. He spent last year on the San Diego Chargers' practice squad after catching seven passes for 70 yards in their preseason. He spent 2012 on the New York Giants practice squad and 2011 in the New York Jets' training camp.
