Player News - Cameron Strause Joining the Golden Rams

Cameron Strause

Cameron Strause (ELCO) has announced his intentions to play football for the Golden Rams. The 6-0, 185lb running back/all-purpose player captured the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 3 Outstanding Back of the Year, Offensive Back of the Year and Outstanding Football Player awards this past season. As a junior, Strause rushed for 1,178 yards and 13 touchdowns and caught four passes for 63 yards and another touchdown. In his senior season, he ran for 1,145 yards and 19 touchdowns and had 27 catches for 439 yards and six touchdowns on offense while logging 77 total tackles and a 74-yard interception return for touchdown on defense. On special teams, he punted six times, had two kickoff returns for 49 yards and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown. Strause clearly knows how to get into the end zone as he had 49 total touchdowns and five two-point conversions in his four-year high school career.
