Team News - 2012 Third Regional Rankings

After their loss this past weekend to Bloomsburg, the West Chester University Golden Rams have fallen out of the NCAA Super Regional 1 rankings this season. The NCAA released its third regional rankings of 2012 yesterday.

It appears the top three teams (Shippensburg, Winston-Salem and New Haven) will be in the playoffs regardless of the outcome of their games this weekend. Bloomsburg appears fairly secure. At least one of the West Virginia teams will also be in the playoffs. Indiana hosts Shippensburg in the PSAC championship game on Saturday. The Golden Rams are out of playoff contention.
