Junior linebacker and team captain Jackson Taylor has been named second team preseason All-Division II by Lindy’s Sports. After last season, Taylor was named
PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year, first team All-PSAC East,
second team All-D2CCA Super Region 1,
D2football.com Elite 100 and
honorable mention All-America by Don Hansen Football Gazette.
The Golden Rams do not appear in Lindy's preseason top 25, but one of this season's scheduled opponents does: Shepherd at #6. Two PSAC West teams appear in the top 25 with California at #17 and and Indiana at #21.
