For his efforts in West Chester's 42-24 win over East Stroudsburg, sophomore running back Ja'Den McKenzie has been named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week.
McKenzie rushed 13 times for 135 yards and a touchdown. West Chester needed to rely on the running game in the second quarter with the wind in their face, and McKenzie made it not matter as he went down the left sideline and then cut back to the middle for a 72-yard run to the East Stroudsburg one. He later tallied an 11-yard touchdown run.
McKenzie currently leads the PSAC with eight rushing touchdowns, is sixth in rushing yards with 558 and is eighth in yards per carry with 5.3.
