Event News - 41st Killinger Foundation Banquet

After an 19 month delay due to the pandemic, the 41st Annual Killinger Foundation Football Banquet was held on Saturday, November 6 at the West Chester University Alumni & Foundation Center. The 2020 Hall of Fame inductees were:

- Joe Ellis '86
- Tom Coates '78
- Graham Eggleston '04
- Bill Zwaan Jr '08
- Julie '86 and Mark Drochek '86 - Hall of Distinction

Coates played linebacker and was the team's lone captain in his senior season when West Chester did not play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference but played the likes of Delaware, Bucknell and New Hampshire. Ellis was a two-time All-PSAC East defensive lineman and team captain in his senior season when the Golden Rams' only losses came at Division I-AA Delaware, at Division I-AA Lehigh and at Indiana in the PSAC championship game.

Eggleston was a three-time first team All-PSAC East selection at defensive end. He was one of the team captains the first time that West Chester advanced to the NCAA Division II semi-finals and finished 11-4. He's among the Golden Ram career leaders in sacks and tackles for loss. Zwaan was a two-time All-PSAC East selection at quarterback. He led West Chester to the playoffs in both 2006 and 2007 and is among the leaders in numerous season and career passing records.

Julie Drochek is a long-time member and former secretary of the Golden Ram Football Club while Mark Drochek is the creator and content contributor to the Golden Ram Football Club blog.
