For his efforts in West Chester's 44-6 win over Bentley, sophomore linebacker Nate Barnes has been named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week. In the contest, Barnes led the Golden Rams with seven tackles. He also registered 3.5 sacks, broke up a pass and recovered a fumble that led to West Chester's first touchdown.
