Significant efforts from former Golden Rams Rondell White and Eddie Elliott weren't enough for the Nice Dauphins to overcome three interceptions as they fell to the Les Argonautes 35-23.
White had 13 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, three catches for 26 yards, and a kick return for 25 yards while Elliott had three carries for ten yards and a touchdown, five catches for 82 yards, and a kick return for another ten yards in the contest. The two West Chester alumni accounted for 206 of the Dauphins' 264 yards on offense.
White's touchdown, keyed by a block from Elliott, gave the Dauphins a 17-14 lead early in the third quarter. Elliott's three-yard touchdown run drew Nice to 28-23 midway through the fourth quarter, but a later Dauphins scoring drive was thwarted by an interception.
The Dauphins are off until March 4 when they travel to take on the undefeated La Courneuve Flash.
