Event News - Bucks-Montco Lions All-Star Football Classic

At least one future Golden Ram will be participating in the First Annual Bucks-Montco Lions All-Star Football Classic to be held on June 3 at 7:30 pm at Willliam Tennent High School in Warminster. Quarterback Mike Alley of Pennsbury is slated to suit up for the Bucks County team. Running back Nafeese Nasir of Plymouth Whitemarsh who was introduced at the Spring Game will play for Montgomery County, although he is listed as "undecided" regarding his future plans.

Current Golden Ram linebacker Zack Hockman of Pennridge was named MVP of last year's Bucks County Lions Football Classic. That event has merged with the former Montgomery County All-Star Football Classic to form the Bucks-Montco Lions All-Star Football Classic. The event is sponsored by the Bucks County Lions Club with the charitable funds raised by the game going to Lions Club charities.

The game is being dedicated to former Norristown football coach and West Chester University football player Roger Grove.

The game will also be streamed on WBCB 1490.

UPDATE - The Intelligencer - Montco edges Bucks, 19-17
