Player News - Chris Carey Tweets Committment to WCU

Chris Carey (St. Joseph) has tweeted his intentions to play football for the Golden Rams. At 6-2, 230lb, he was primarily used as a pass rusher, either at defensive end or outside linebacker. Carey also played tight end and H-back for the Wildcats who, despite finishing second in the Cape Atlantic League, went on to win the NJSIAA Non-Public, Group 2 State Championship for the seventh consecutive time. Big players make big plays in big games and the three-year starter saved one of his 11.5 sacks of 2015 for the second half of the championship contest. In his four year high school career, Carey totaled over 170 tackles and 26 sacks.
