The 34th Annual Killinger Foundation Football Banquet will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 6:00 pm at the Concord Country Club in Concordville, PA. The 2013 Hall of Fame inductees are:
- Kevin Ingram '02
- Tom Burnley '98
- Bruce Udovich '72
- Frank Petrone '71
- Dave Eavenson '69
The Foundation will also be honoring the 1971 team.
Ingram was a two-time first team All-PSAC East selection at wide receiver, the 1999 PSAC East Offensive Player of the Year, and a AFCA first team All-American. Ingram still holds the NCAA Division II record for receiving yards in a single game with 401 against Clarion in 1998. Eavenson was a two-time first team All-PSAC East selection at offensive tackle. Udovich was a first team All-PSAC East selection at linebacker while Petrone was a first team All-PSAC selection at defensive tackle. Burnley was a two time second team All-PSAC East defensive lineman.
Under head coach Bob Mitten, the 1971 team compiled a record of 9-1 including a 35-14 victory over Edinboro for the Golden Rams' last PSAC championship. Dominant on both sides of the ball, even if the 47-9 loss to Delaware is included, West Chester outscored its opponents by a combined score of 413-107 including four shutouts.
Anyone interested in attending is asked to use the online ticket sale center. Tickets will not be sold at the door and reservations must be made by April 6, 2013.
