Mattei's top target, wide receiver Smook Thomas of Missouri S&T, was the game's Offensive MVP. Mattei guided the Stars to a 27-6 victory over the Stripes. The game showcases the nation's top players from FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA schools. Representatives from many professional teams from European, Canadian and Indoor leagues were in attendance.
