The Golden Ram Football Club will be meeting on Thursday at 7:45 pm at Timothy's in the Parkway Shopping Center in West Chester. The meeting will begin immediately following the Bill Zwaan Football Show which is also held at Timothy's starting at 7:00 pm. Golden Ram fans unable to attend the show can listen to it live on WCHE 1520AM. The meeting will not be broadcast.
According to the Bill Zwaan Football Show facebook page, cornerback Bob Sabol will be the special guest on Coach Zwaan's show. The senior from Wilmington ranks 6th on the team in total tackles with 29 and is among the leaders in the PSAC in passes defended with seven. When he gets his hands on the ball, the Rams tend to score. Sabol snared his only interception of the season against Delaware and the West Chester offense converted that into a touchdown. Against California, Sabol returned two kickoffs for a total of 50 yards and the Golden Rams scored touchdowns on both of those ensuing possessions as well.
After head coach Bill Zwaan speaks at the meeting, this week's guest speakers will be WCU Women's Basketball Head Coach Deirdre Kane and WCU Men's Basketball Head Coach Damien Blair to preview their upcoming 2012-2013 seasons.
