Player News - Kavon Johnson Joins WCU Football
Kavon Johnson (Plymouth-Whitemarsh) is reporting that he will continue to play football for the Golden Rams. The 6-2, 265lb defensive lineman was #38 on the most recent Philadelphia Inquirer's Top 150 list and #2 on Rick O'Brien's 10 best interior defensive linemen list. As a team captain his senior year, he led the Colonials to an 8-2 record and an appearance in the PIAA District 1 AAAA playoffs. Johnson calls West Chester "the right academic and athletic fit."
