Player News - James Webb to Wear Purple and Gold

James Webb (Lansdale Catholic) has committed to West Chester per Lansdale Catholic Football's social media page. As a junior, when the Crusaders captured the District XII Class 2A title and qualified for the PIAA Class 2A playoffs, Webb was a Swiss army knife. He led the team in receiving with 26 catches for 439 yards and 5 touchdowns, had 23 yards rushing on four carries, 18 tackles, three interceptions including a pick-six, four passes defended, six kickoff returns for 138 yards, eight punt returns for 130 yards, and 45 punts for a 33 yard average. He also had a 53-yard pick-six in his sophomore year. This past season, when Lansdale Catholic advanced to the PIAA Class 2A semi-finals, the 6-2, 170lb cornerback amassed seven interceptions. Webb chose West Chester over PSAC East rival East Stroudsburg.

Player News - Vincent Rosa Joining the Golden Rams

Vincent Rosa (Eastern, NJ) has indicated his intention to join the Golden Rams. The 6-0, 185lb defensive back was limited to five games this past season, but still managed two interceptions, including a pick-six, on defense to go along with 16 catches for 411 yards and three touchdowns on offense. As a junior, he led the Vikings with 28 catches for 487 yards and two scores as a receiver and two interceptions on defense. In each of the past two years, Eastern finished second in the Freedom Division and qualified for the NJSIAA Group 5 playoffs.

Player News - Angus Smith Commits to the Golden Rams

Angus Smith (Owen J. Roberts) has tweeted his intention to play football for the Golden Rams. The 6-5, 320lb offensive tackle was a large part of the Wildcats offensive success the past two seasons, as Owen J. Roberts advanced in the District I Class 6A playoffs in both 2024 and 2025. Smith, who was identified as one of Pennsylvania’s top offensive linemen in Class 6A, was Owen J. Roberts' Mini Max award winner.

Player News - Amahj Gowans Coming to West Chester

Amahj Gowans (Cardinal O’Hara) has announced his commitment to West Chester Univeristy. This past season the 5-8, 175lb running back had an eye-popping 2,081 yards and 23 touchdowns on 325 carries to accompany 28 catches for 228 yards and another two scores. The Lions captured the Philadelphia Catholic League Red Division championship, the District XII Class 4A title and advanced to the PIAA Class 4A semi-finals, falling to the eventual state champion. Gowans, who was Cardinal O'Hara's Mini Max award winner, chose West Chester over Lock Haven, Lincoln, West Virginia State and Catholic.

Player News - Danny Celins Becomes a Golden Ram

Danny Celins (Archbishop Ryan) has issued a commitment to West Chester Univeristy via social media. As a 6-5, 215lb tight end, he made 16 catches for 271 yards and seven touchdowns. On defense, of his 49 tackles, 23 were for a loss including a league-high 11.5 sacks. The Raiders won the Philadelphia Catholic League Blue Division each of the past two seasons. Celins chose West Chester over PSAC East rival Lock Haven.

Player News - Jacob Hauze Selects West Chester

Jacob Hauze (Bethlehem Freedom) has publicized his intent to play college football for the Golden Rams. The 6-4, 260lb tight end/defensive end had success on both sides of the ball for the Patriots. As a junior, he hauled in 12 catches for 140 yards and a score, while making three sacks among his 21 tackles on defense. This past season, he made 14 catches for 253 yards and two touchdowns, while making 39 tackles including five sacks and 11 tackles for loss. In 2025, Hauze was named the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Northampton Division Defensive co-MVP, and Freedom advanced to the District XI Class 6A quarterfinals.

Player News - Yeboa Cobbold Jr. Joins Golden Rams

Yeboa Cobbold Jr. (Lansdale Catholic) has issued a commitment to West Chester Univeristy. Golden Ram head coach Duke Greco will have the enviable task of determining where the 6-1, 185lb athlete plays as he was recruited to be a defensive back last year but accounted for 32 touchdowns and almost 2,500 yards as a quarterback this season. Cobbold, who also plays basketball for the Crusaders, led Lansdale Catholic to the PIAA Class 2A semi-finals, falling to the eventual state champion. He was named the Catholic League Blue Division Offensive Player of the Year and the Player of the Year by Ed "Huck" Palmer.

Player News - Mayson Talley Announces Commitment to WCU

Mayson Talley (St. Joseph’s Prep) has indicated his intention to join the Golden Rams. The 5-10, 185lb defensive back was part of the Hawks team that captured the PIAA Class 6A state championship in 2023 and 2024. Talley chose West Chester over PSAC East rivals East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg.

Player News - Jack Pellicciotti Switching to West Chester

Jack Pellicciotti (Liberty, MD) has indicated that he will be playing football for the Golden Rams. In his final year of high school, the 6-2, 205lb quarterback threw for 2,236 yards, 27 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions as the Lions advanced to the second round of the MPSSAA Class 2A/1A playoffs. Pellicciotti earned invitations to both the Maryland Crab Bowl and the Big 33 all-star games. He spent the last two seasons at Towson, but did not see game action.

Player News - Efrain Quiles Transferring to West Chester

Efrain Quiles (Lansdale Catholic) has indicated his intention to join the Golden Rams. At 6-3, 290lb, he played edge linebacker on defense and full back on offense for the Crusaders. He did not see game action as a defensive end at Ursinus in 2023. Quiles was listed as a tight end for Saint Francis and saw acton in 11 games over two seasons primarily on special teams.

Player News - Eddie Bowen Joining the Golden Rams

After spending a season at Marist, Eddie Bowen (Central Bucks South) intends to continue his academic and football careers at West Chester University. After accumulating 18.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks in his senior season, the 6-2, 252lb defensive end was named Bucks County Defensive Player of the Year. Bowen represented Pennsylvania in the Big 33 Football Classic and was CB South's Mini Max award winner. In 2023, the Titans won the District I Class 6A title and advanced to the PIAA Class 6A semi-finals, falling to the eventual state champion.

Player News - Cole Ordway Issues Commitment to WCU

Cole Ordway (Easton) is joining the West Chester football family. After accounting for over 2,500 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior, this past season the 6-0, 180lb quarterback threw for 1,402 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 1,977 yards and 36 touchdowns while setting a dozen records for the Red Rovers. Easton won the District XI Class 6A title and advanced to the PIAA Class 6A quarterfinals, falling to the eventual state champion. Ordway was named the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Northamption Division Offensive MVP, and Easton's football scholar-athlete and Mini Max award winner. In the spring, he is an all-league shortstop for Easton as well. Ordway chose West Chester over PSAC East rivals Bloomsburg and Shippensburg.

Team News - Coaching Changes for the Golden Rams

West Chester University has announced several changes to the the Golden Rams' coaching staff. Michael Isgro will be the pass game coordinator, special teams and wide receivers coach. After several years as an assistant to Duke Greco at Delaware Valley University, Isgro was promoted to head coach of the Aggies two years ago when Greco moved to West Chester. Isgro guided Del Val to a 16-3 record over the past two seasons.

After 25 years at Del Val, Greg Fedick will assume the role of run game coordinator and offensive line coach for the Golden Rams. Also a former assistant coach at Del Val, Roger Wright will coach the secondary for West Chester. Finally, after a year at FCS Towson, Shaun Kennedy returns to West Chester where he served as a student assistant from 2022-2024. Kennedy will be working with the quarterbacks and serve as personnel director.

Departed are offensive coordinator, former West Chester quarterback and Killinger Foundation Football Hall of Fame member Bill Zwaan Jr who was on the Golden Rams staff since 2011; running backs coach, former West Chester running back and Killinger Foundation Football Hall of Fame member Osagie Osunde who was on the Golden Rams staff since 2012; offensive line coach Nick Sama was on the Golden Rams staff since 2003, and director of player personnel and former West Chester tight end Justin Curry.

Player News - Connor Noble to Play in Dream Bowl XIV

West Chester linebacker Connor Noble has been selected to play in the 2026 Dream Bowl to be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on Sunday, January 11 at noon CST since the Dallas Cowboys don't need the stadium after the regular season ends. Noble will suit up for the Crusaders.

Noble is a three-time first team All-PSAC East selection, two-time first team Division 2 Conference Commissioner's Association All-Super Region 1 pick, a two-time Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area choice and a three-time Don Hansen Football Gazette All-American. In his three seasons for the Golden Rams, Noble amassed 324 total tackles of which 113 were solo stops, 20 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three interceptions, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The Dream Bowl is a College Football All-Star Showcase featuring players of all levels of college football from across the country.
