For his efforts in West Chester's 41-37 win over Edinboro, sophomore linebacker Jackson Taylor has been named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week.
Early in the second quarter, Taylor pressured the quarterback into an intentional grounding penalty. Later in the period, when West Chester forced a three-and-out, he was involved in all three stops, including teaming up with Michael Gobora on an 8-yard sack. For the game, Taylor finished with 13 total tackles of which six were solo stops, including 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
