Zwaan, a 1972 graduate of Archbishop Carroll, has been head football coach at West Chester since 2003 and has a record of 141-60 through last Saturday. In that span, the Golden Rams have won or shared the PSAC East title seven times and won the PSAC Championship in 2018. Zwaan has guided West Chester to the NCAA Division II playoffs nine times, advancing to the national semi-finals in both 2004 and 2013. He received the Maxwell Football Club Tri-State Coach Award after the 2013 season, was named AFCA Division II Region 1 Coach of the Year after last season, and has been named PSAC East Coach of the Year five times. Under Zwaan, the Golden Rams have also been named ECAC Division II Team of the Year eight times.
