Alumni News - Steelers Release Shabazz

The Pittsburgh Steelers released former Golden Ram Al-Hajj Shabazz as they reduced their roster to the NFL maximum 53 players. Shabazz was one of four cornerbacks that the Steelers cut on Saturday as they also acquired cornerback Justin Gilbert in a trade with the Cleveland Browns.

The Steelers, as well as all other NFL teams, will look to fill their practice squad with up to ten players after 1:00 pm on Sunday.
