The
Daily Local News is reporting that Blaise Schieler (West Catholic) has committed to play football for the Golden Rams. The 5-10, 180lb defensive back had 63 tackles, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and eight passes defended in his senior year. Schieler was named his team's Special Teams Player of the Week against Archbishop Wood and Bishop McDevitt in the Burrs' AA Philadelphia Catholic League championship game. He had 24 tackles and six passes defended in his junior season when the Burrs won the PIAA AA state championship. An excellent student and member of the Burrs' Honor Roll, Schieler is also an All-City outfielder for the West Catholic baseball team.
