Marquez "Mari" Wright (Susquehanna Township) has tweeted his plans to play football at West Chester University. The 5-10, 170lb dual threat was a weapon with the ball in his hands, as he earned first team all-conference honors as both a wide receiver and a punt/kick returner. Wright amassed over 1,100 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns for the Indians. In Susquehanna Township's whitewashing of Hershey this past season, Wright scored three touchdowns on a 15-yard reception, a 60-yard punt return and a 34-yard run. He also played defensive back for the Indians. In 2015, Wright played running back in leading the Indians to the PIAA District 3 Class AAA championship game.
