Team News - Golden Rams win Lambert Meadowlands Award

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the winners of the Lambert Meadowlands Awards for the 2013 season. After reaching the national semi-finals and finishing the season with a 13-2 record, the West Chester University Golden Rams were declared the Division II winner of the Lambert Meadowlands Award.

The ECAC will host its annual Eastern College Football Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at MetLife Stadium in the New Jersey Meadowlands. Also expected to be recognized will be Golden Ram running back Rondell White who was previously named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and linebacker Ronell Williams who was named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year

Towson was declared the Division I Championship Subdivision recipient and St. John Fisher won the award in Division III. The Lambert Meadowlands Trophy recognizes supremacy in Eastern college football.
