Alumni News - Mt Union and McDermott Win DIII Title

The Mt Union Purple Raiders captured the NCAA Division III Championship by defeating St Thomas (MN) by a score of 28-10 in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. It's the 11th national title for Mt Union (15-0), but their first since 2008. Former Golden Ram fullback Brian McDermott concluded his first season as running backs coach for Mount Union. On the season, the Raiders averaged 254 yards rushing per game and amassed 54 rushing touchdowns.
