The Golden Rams added two transfers with defensive lineman Ayyub Dail (IUP/Easton) and defensive back Kaleb Brown (Penn State/Wilson).
Dail (6-0, 280lb) tallied 11 tackles as a redshirt freshman in 2019 and 9 tackles in 7 games this past season. After his senior season in 2017 at Easton, he was named first-team All-Area Morning Call as an offensive lineman. Golden Ram fans might remember Dail registering a sack on West Chester's opening drive in last year's
season-ending loss to the Crimson Hawks.
Meanwhile, Brown (5-11, 188lb) was named Penn State's
Scout Team Special Teams Player of the Year after his only season in State College. At Wilson, Brown played quarterback for the Bulldogs, leading them to 16-3 record over his final two seasons including a Lancaster-Lebanon League championship in 2020. In a shortened senior season, he threw for 567 yards and five touchdowns while running for 746 yards and seven touchdowns in posting a 6-1 record. As a full-time defenisve back as a sophomore, he nabbed five interceptions and made 28 tackles. In track and field, Brown won the Berks County long jump in 2021.
