Long time assistant coach
Gerald Toney '92 has announced his retirement from West Chester University effective March 20. During his 34 years of coaching the Golden Rams, he served as recruiting coordinator, offensive coordinator, defensive backs coach, special teams coordinator and most recently as associate head coach. As a player for West Chester, he was a standout defensive back who earned All-PSAC East and All-ECAC honors in his senior season. A member of the
Killinger Foundation Football Hall of Fame, he is the final remnant of West Chester football prior to
Duke Greco becoming head coach in January of 2024.
