Player News - Shamarr Joppy to Continue at West Chester

Shamarr Joppy (Wayne St/Hudson Valley/Lackawanna/Central Dauphin) has signed with the Golden Rams. After being a two-way standout for the Central Dauphin Rams, Joppy redshirted in 2021 and played sparingly at running back in 2022 at Lackawanna. In 2023 he had a breakout season as a linebacker at Hudson Valley, making 82 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss, and snatching five interceptions. As a result, he was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year. Joppy spent last season at Division II Wayne State but did not see game action. He also had an offer to play at Mercyhurst.
