Player News - Four Golden Rams Honored for Academics

Four West Chester Golden Ram players have received honors for their performance on the field and in the classroom this season. Graduate student left tackle Brendan Ruskowski (Accounting and Finance), graduate student center Jacob Colby (Criminal Justice), graduate student linebacker Cole Zapf (Criminal Justice), and sophomore defensive end Michael Gobora (Economics and Finance) were named to the 2021 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Football Team.

The Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Football team is voted on by the sports information directors of the 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia area. In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, an athlete must be in at least his second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.
