Player News - Elder to Play in Hula Bowl

West Chester safety Jarey Elder has been selected to play in the 2020 Hula Bowl to be played in Aloha Stadium in Oahu, HI on Sunday, January 26 at 10:30pm EST.

Elder (Sr., Parkland) is a three-time All-PSAC East selection and two-time All-ECAC choice. After his junior year, he was also named first team CCA All-Super Region 1, first team Don Hansen Football Gazette Super Region One, honorable mention Don Hansen Football Gazette All-American, second team AFCA Division II All-America, and first team D2Football.com All-America. After this past season, Elder also was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Year, second team Division 2 CCA All-Super Region 1, first team Don Hansen Football Gazette Super Region 1, second team D2Football.com All-American, and a Cliff Harris Award nominee.

The Hula Bowl was established in 1946 as the Hula Bowl All-Star Football Classic game and since 1960, was established as an All-Star game that would only invite NCAA college players from schools across the US, pitting players from the East against players from the West.
