Teams News - Golden Rams Playoff Bound!!!!

For the third consecutive season, and fifth time in the past seven years, the West Chester Golden Rams will be participating in postseason play when they travel to Notre Dame of Ohio on Saturday. The NCAA announced the 2019 Division II football playoff field and Super Region 1 shapes up as follows:

1. Slippery Rock
2. Kutztown
3. Notre Dame
4. Indiana
Shepherd
West Chester
Tiffin

As the top seed, Slippery Rock will have a bye and will host the winner of the Shepherd at Indiana matchup on Saturday November 30. The winner of West Chester-Notre Dame will face the winner of Tiffin at Kutztown.

West Chester finished the regular season with a 9-2 record and is the only team from this region that qualified for the postseason each of the past three seasons. Last year, West Chester fell to New Haven in the first round.

This will be the first ever meeting between Notre Dame and West Chester in football.
