Team News - Golden Rams Up to #12 in AFCA Poll

After pasting Millersville by a score of 42-16, West Chester (4-0) has moved up again in the top 25 of the coaches' poll. The Golden Rams are now ranked #12. West Chester actually fell in the D2football.com poll to from #18 to #19.

Quarterback A.J. Long is among the national leaders in passing efficiency (3rd) with a 188.3 rating, passing yards per completion (5th) with 18.24 and points responsible for (4th) with 96. Punter Brendan Paulison is 4th in the country with an average 45.7 yards per punt. Rasheem James is 4th in the country in TD receptions with 6.

The Golden Ram defense leads the nation in sacks with 5.5 per game and is 3rd in the country in scoring with 10.8 points per game allowed. The offense is 6th in the country in scoring with 44.0 points per game. West Chester is one of 22 teams that remain undefeated after four weeks into the season.

West Chester's next action is Saturday at noon when they host Shippensburg (2-2).
