Team News - 2018 WCU Football Schedule

Some observations about the recently released 2018 Golden Rams football schedule:

For the third straight season, the Golden Rams will open against Northeast-10 opponent Bentley. This will be the second consecutive year that the season will start in August.

For the first time in at least 15 years, West Chester will play only a ten-game regular season schedule. This is due to Cheyney dropping football and not being able to identify another opponent.

West Chester will have just four home games, with three of them starting at noon. Only homecoming against Lock Haven kicks off at 2:00, so it doesn't look promising for a post game fireworks show this year.

The November 3 homecoming date with Lock Haven is the latest homecoming for West Chester in over 15 years.
