Player News - Zach Gilbert Tweets Golden Rams

Zach Gilbert (Whitehall) has tweeted a commitment to continue his studies and play football for the Golden Rams. The 6-4, 195lb left-handed quarterback set single season school records in passing completions, yardage and touchdowns in leading the Zephyrs to the PIAA District 11 Class 5A Championship. Whitehall finally lost in the PIAA Class 5A quarterfinals to the eventual state champion. In his senior season, Gilbert threw for over 2,700 yards and 31 touchdowns while running for almost 200 yards and another four scores. Also Whitehall's recipient of this year's Mini Max Award, he also plays for the Zephyr basketball team, which advanced to the PIAA District 11 Class 4A playoffs last year, and pitches and plays first base for the baseball team.
