Team News - Dan Connor Named Head Coach at Archbishop Carroll

West Chester linebackers coach Dan Connor is leaving the Golden Rams to become the head football coach at nearby Archbishop Carroll High School. Connor coached linebackers at West Chester for the past two seasons. He was an All-American linebacker at Penn State and spent six seasons in the NFL with three different teams after being drafted in the third round.

Connor replaces Joe Powel after the Patriots finished 2015 with a 3-7 record. Archbishop Carroll will play next season in the Philadelphia Catholic League Red Division which also consists of the PIAA Class 5A and 6A schools La Salle, St Joseph's Prep, Father Judge, Archbishop Ryan and Archbishop Wood.
