Player News - Monk, Elder Named PSAC East Players of the Week

For their efforts in West Chester's 41-27 win over East Stroudsburg, senior running back Brandon Monk has been named PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week and sophomore running back Jarel Elder has been named PSAC East Special Teams Player of the Week. Monk, who won the same award after last year's game against East Stroudsburg, rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. He also had a catch for five yards. Elder returned all five of East Stroudsburg's kickoffs for a total of 133 yards for an average of 26.6 yards per return.
