Player News - Jai Thornton Issues Verbal to WCU

Jai Thornton (Haverford) has given a verbal commitment to play football at West Chester. The 5-7, 165lb defensive back/running back was #95 on the Philadelphia Inquirer's Rally 100 list and on Rick O'Brien's top multipurpose threats in Southeastern PA list.

This past season, Thornton rushed for 760 yards and five touchdowns on offense and had seven interceptions including two pick sixes on defense. His team named him Co-MVP this season.
