Team News - Eight Golden Rams Named PSAC Scholar-Athletes

Eight members of the Golden Ram football team have been named PSAC Scholar-Athletes for the 2012-2013 academic year. In order to qualify for the honor, athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better. There were 2,201 athletes from all 16 PSAC institutions of which 209 represented West Chester University.

Representing the football team are senior wide receiver Sean Beahan, junior fullback Jared Bonacquisti, sophomore punter Rich Bruno, junior offensive guard Trey Farmer, sophomore kicker Will Huff, freshman linebacker Drew Persa, freshman defensive lineman Barry Lyons, and sophomore defensive lineman Myles Tornetta.

Event News - DFRC Blue-Gold All★Star Football Game

A future Golden Ram will be participating in the 58th Annual DFRC Blue-Gold All★Star Football Game to be held at 7:00 pm on June 22 at University of Delaware Stadium. Lineman Devan Labau of St. Mark's High School is slated to play for the Blue squad in the contest. Proceeds from the event benefit Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities.

Alumni News - DePalma Impresses Chargers

The Giants, the Jets and now the Chargers. The phrases have always been the same regarding former Golden Ram wide receiver Dan DePalma - he's fast, he's confident, he's quick, he's small, he's a hard worker, he's willing to do anything, he's made the most of his opportunities, he makes big plays. Event News - Annual McDonald's Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic

A future Golden Ram will be participating in the 43rd Annual McDonald's Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic to be held at 7:00 pm on June 20 in Nazareth's Andrew Leh Stadium. Offensive lineman Mike Unger of Parkland High School will suit up for the Red squad.

Proceeds from the event benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
