Ian Nanni (Downingtown West) has signed a letter of intent to play football at West Chester University.
The 6-4, 255lb defensive end will play in the Valor Bowl , Chester County's high school football all-star game, in May.
In his senior season, Nanni logged 60 tackles, 10.5 sacks and five forced fumbles while leading the Whippets (7-4) to the PIAA AAAA District 1 playoffs.
He is the son of Paul Nanni who starred at linebacker for the Golden Rams in the 80's and whose name still appears in the record book.
