Dan Sherry (St. Joseph's Prep) has verbally committed to play football at West Chester according to
Ted Silary.
The 6-2, 210lb two-way player was #76 on the most recent
Philadelphia Inquirer's Top 150 list and #9 on Rick O'Brien's
top safeties list. A four-year member of the varsity squad, Sherry also started at tight end and served as the Hawks punter.
The Hawks (10-1) qualified for the PIAA AAAA District 2/4/11/12 playoffs, but fell in overtime to the eventual champion LaSalle.
