The PSAC is reporting that Jaleel Reed (West Catholic) has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Golden Rams. The 6-2, 195lb all-around athlete for the Burrs was focused on getting the ball into the end zone. One of his key scores was a one-yard game-winner with a minute and a half left in the Burrs 30-23 AA city championship game over Bok.
Reed was named his team's Special Teams Player of the Week against Haverford and the Burrs' Offensive Player of the Week against Archbishop Ryan, Lansdale Catholic, Pen Argyl and Lancaster Catholic. West Catholic's season ended with a 23-20 loss in the PIAA AA semi-finals to the eventual state champion.
